Heather Tucker has a diverse work experience in the field of ruminant nutrition and research. Heather started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech in 2007, where they conducted research and mentored undergraduate students. Heather then moved on to Purdue University in 2009, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant until 2013. After completing their graduate studies, they joined the William H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute as a Post-doctorate researcher from 2013 to 2014. Since 2014, Tucker has been associated with Novus International, Inc. in various roles, including Ruminant Nutrition Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, and currently serves as the Manager - Global Ruminant Technology Lead.
Heather Tucker completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Animal Sciences from the University of New Hampshire in 2007. Heather then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Dairy Nutrition from Virginia Tech from 2007 to 2009. Heather further advanced their academic achievements by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Dairy Nutrition from Purdue University, which they completed in 2013.
