Marco Torres has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marco started their career as a Production Engineer at GR Consultoria em Gerenciamento de Riscos in 2000. In 2001, they joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Plant Controlling Specialist, where they focused on analyzing costs and improving cost allocation processes.
In 2003, Marco moved to Merck Animal Health, where they held various roles including Financial & Controlling Manager and Controller. During their time at Merck, they played a key role in the merger with Schering-Plough and led the implementation of new accounting requirements. Marco also managed audits, harmonized global reports, and oversaw the monthly closing and reporting processes.
Since 2011, Marco has been working at Novus International, Inc. Marco started as a Sr. Finance & Administrative Manager in Brazil and later held roles as a Sr. Finance Manager in LATAM-South and LATAM-North. Marco focused on process improvements, restructuring finance teams, and managing audits and financial operations. In their most recent role as the Director of Finance - Global FP&A, Costing and Credit, they provided financial planning, analysis, and support to various departments and business teams.

Marco Torres attended The Wharton School in 2015, where they completed the CFO: Becoming A Strategic Partner Program. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance & Controlling at FEA USP (Ribeirao Preto) from 2000 to 2001. Marco's educational journey began at USP - Sao Carlos (EESC-USP), where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering from 1994 to 1999.
