Nelson Bao

Nelson Bao has a varied work experience, starting with their role as Event Staff Intern at PwC in 2014. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Performance and Event Associate Producer at Shining On Co Ltd. and a Production Coordinator and Videographer at UMass Amherst UVCTV19. In 2021, they were a Production/Marketing ICA Intern at PUMA Group, a Media Innovation Intern at PwC, and a Project Manager/Graphic Designer/UI/UX Designer at Rock TechX. Finally, they are currently a QA Engineer - Infotainment at both Amazon and Novus Labs.

Nelson Bao is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Television Management from Boston University College of Communication, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2020, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the same institution in 2020. Nelson also obtained a Certificate in Film Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2020. In 2019, they attended a Summer Session at Yale University, studying Photography and Film Study. Nelson also has a High School Diploma in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Ulink College of Shanghai, which they obtained in 2016. Nelson Bao also holds certifications from Boston University, University of Massachusetts Amherst, ARRI, and Nikon.
