Jose Antonio Millan Ruano

Jose Antonio Millan Ruano is an experienced executive in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as President and CEO of Nozomi Energy K.K. since April 2023, leading the development and operation of renewable energy assets in Japan. Previously, Jose Antonio held the same title at HINODE ENERGY from January 2021 to March 2023, focusing on solar energy project development in a joint venture. As Chief Global Development Officer at Univergy Solar from January 2017 to December 2020, notable achievements included managing project origination in 14 countries and securing significant solar auction wins, contributing to a pipeline of over 4 GW. Before that, as Chief Business and Project Development Officer at Valfortec from August 2006 to December 2016, success was achieved in the acquisition and development of multiple projects across Europe, the UK, Japan, and the USA. Educationally, Jose Antonio holds a Master’s in Project Management, an Executive MBA, and a Master in Renewable Energy, complemented with training in Coaching and Neurolinguistic Programming.
