Alessandro Cavallaro

Alessandro Cavallaro has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Alessandro began their career in 2008 as a Software Developer at 7Pixel S.r.l., where they worked until 2013. Alessandro then joined Ex Machina as a Software Engineer for a brief period in 2013. In 2014, Alessandro joined Nozomi Networks and held various leadership roles, including Chief Software Architect from 2014 to 2018, Director of Engineering from 2018 to 2021, and Senior Director of Engineering from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Engineering at Nozomi Networks.

Alessandro Cavallaro holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, which they obtained from Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Alessandro also has a Diploma di istruzione secondaria superiore ad indirizzo scientifico from Liceo Scientifico "Vittorio Sereni". In 2019, they attended SDA Bocconi for a course in Team Leadership, although they did not obtain a degree in this program. In terms of additional certifications, Alessandro obtained the "Managing People and Teams" certification from GGV Capital in November 2021, and the "Foundations of People Management 101" certification from the same institution in June 2021.
