Alexey Kleymenov

Alexey Kleymenov has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity field. Alexey is currently working at Nozomi Networks as a Threat Intelligence Manager since February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Cyber Threat Analyst at the same company from January 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Nozomi Networks, Alexey founded "Reverse Engineering and More" in June 2020. This project aimed to address the shortage of security professionals by providing private classes and group workshops in malware analysis and reverse engineering.

From November 2020 to January 2021, Alexey worked at Symantec as a Staff Threat Analysis Engineer. Prior to that, they held various roles at Symantec, including Senior Threat Analysis Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. Alexey'stenure at Symantec spanned from September 2013 to November 2020.

Alexey also has experience as an author, having authored the book "Mastering Malware Analysis" during their time at Packt from November 2018 to July 2019.

Furthermore, Alexey worked as a Senior Malware Analyst and Malware Analyst at Kaspersky Lab from August 2009 to September 2013. Alexey'sresponsibilities at Kaspersky Lab included malware analysis, development of custom cures, advisory role, and documentation support.

Prior to Kaspersky Lab, Alexey started their career at Doctor Web, Ltd. as an Engineer-malware analyst from January 2008 to August 2009.

Alexey Kleymenov studied at St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics from 2006 to 2012. Alexey obtained their degree as a Specialist in Information Security, with a focus on Management and Technologies for Information Security. In 2016, they also received the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
