Jose B.

Jose B. has a strong background in IT and cybersecurity. Jose has extensive experience in leading and implementing network security solutions for Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Internet of Things (IoT), and other Operational Technology (OT) environments. Jose has expertise in threat hunting, intrusion detection, and incident response planning.

Prior to their role at Nozomi, Jose worked at Emerson Automation Solutions as a Security Solutions Lead Engineer, where they led ICS cybersecurity projects and conducted security assessments for large control systems. Jose also supported and troubleshooted cybersecurity systems for Industrial Control Systems.

Before that, Jose worked at Alcatel-Lucent as a GSM BSS Services Engineer.

Jose B. attended Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Additionally, in March 2022, they obtained a certification in Industrial Internet of Things: From Theory to Applications from MIT Professional Education.
