Rick Martinez, J.D. has worked in various roles throughout their career. Rick started as a Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Peter Balogh in 2003. Rick then worked as a Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Seth Chazin from 2004 to 2005, where they provided research and composed briefs and motions in criminal matters. Following this, Rick worked as a Litigation Paralegal at Filice Brown Eassa & Mcleod from 2004 to 2006, managing discovery documents and coordinating preparation for hearings and trials. Rick then became a Litigation Paralegal at Howard Rome Martin & Ridley LLP in 2005, preparing memoranda, drafting discovery responses, and negotiating contracts.

In 2007, Rick joined FriendFinder Networks Inc. as a Paralegal and Contracts Manager. Here, they prepared licensing agreements, reviewed marketing contracts, and managed contracts and legal record keeping procedures. Rick was later promoted to Director of Contract Administration, where they increased efficiency in the contractual process and addressed regulatory and legal compliance issues.

Rick's next role was at CallidusCloud, where they worked as a Senior Contracts Manager from 2013 to 2014. Rick provided support to domestic and international sales teams, negotiated contracts, and contributed to increased sales revenue. Rick then joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Contracts Manager and Negotiator-HP Software in 2014, where they drafted and negotiated various agreements and provided cross-legal support for the Autonomy sales team.

From 2014 to 2017, Rick worked at Imperva as a Contracts Manager. Rick drafted and negotiated various agreements, provided legal support to sales teams, and handled domestic and international channel sales. In 2017, they joined TORA as a Sr. Paralegal, providing legal support in their role until 2018.

Currently, Rick is working at Nozomi Networks as a Contracts Manager since 2018. Rick also holds the position of Director of Legal since 2020.

Rick Martinez, J.D. completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles from 1992 to 1997. Later, they pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Golden Gate University, School of Law with a specialization in Intellectual Property from 2000 to 2003.
