Gerard van der Poel

Gerard van der Poel has extensive experience in the field of exercise physiology, serving as eigenaar and directeur at Infomotion since January 1994. In addition to this role, Gerard van der Poel has been a docent for various advanced trainings at the Nederlands Paramedisch Instituut since 1991 and has taught exercise physiology and training sciences at Hogeschool Rotterdam since September 2012 and Wellness Profi Center since 2002. Gerard van der Poel previously taught the Master's program in sports physiotherapy at Hogeschool Utrecht from January 1997 to June 2019 and at NPi & Avans+ between 2008 and 2017. Gerard van der Poel co-owned and acted as hoofdredacteur of Vakblad Sportgericht from 1995 until December 2014 and has held teaching positions at Avans+ and Aad van Loon Sport. Furthermore, Gerard van der Poel was a board member at VvBN from 2004 to 2006. Gerard van der Poel holds a Doctorandus degree in exercise physiology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, earned between 1983 and 1989.
