Liron Duraku M.D.

Liron Duraku MD Ph.D. serves as a Consulting Staff Member in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive & Hand Surgery at Amsterdam UMC and holds positions as a Consultant Hand, Wrist & Peripheral Nerve Surgeon at Bergman Clinics and Co-founder of the Academic Nerve Centre Amsterdam-Rotterdam. As the Chair of the Education Committee for the Global Nerve Foundation, Liron is a founding member dedicated to enhancing knowledge and advocacy surrounding peripheral nerve conditions. Liron is involved with several educational and research initiatives as a Co-founder of the Esser Masterclass and BROASE Research Group, and as a Clinical Research Member of both the HaPPeN Research Network and the Hand Wrist Study Group. Additionally, Liron lectures on hand and wrist biomechanics at the NPi and participates as faculty for Surgical Anatomy specializing in upper extremity and nerve. Liron's educational background includes fellowships and advanced degrees in medicine and neuroscience from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
