Sven van der Meer

Sven van der Meer is a dedicated physiotherapist and educator with extensive experience in geriatrics and multidisciplinary team involvement. Currently serving as a docent at NPi since January 2023, Sven specializes in falling prevention courses. Previously, since November 2014, Sven has worked at Fytac as a geriatriefysiotherapeut, focusing on the treatment of elderly clients and individuals with chronic conditions such as COPD and heart failure, as well as orthopedics and musculoskeletal issues. Additional experience includes a temporary role as a waarnemend fysiotherapeut at Ter Harmsel Fysiotherapie. Sven holds a Master of Science in Geriatrics in Physiotherapy from SOMT University and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Hanze University, complemented by a Bachelor of Education in Biology from Windesheim.
