Bertha Alicia Haro

Bertha Alicia Haro serves as the Executive Director of NPower California, where leadership facilitates the statewide support of over 350 individuals annually through technical training and employment pathways in the tech industry. With a decade-long tenure at Great Minds in STEM (GMiS), Bertha held various roles, including Executive Director, where strategic planning and management became key responsibilities, and Director of Business Development, focusing on fundraising and event coordination to support STEM initiatives for underrepresented students. Earlier experience includes positions at Worksource Career Center, culminating in the role of Interim Executive Director, overseeing a team dedicated to connecting job seekers with employment opportunities. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, and a certificate in Organizational Leadership from the Multicultural Executive Women Leadership Program.
