February 1, 2023; Washington, D.C.-- After a nationwide search, Adrienne Brown has been named NPR's new Vice President of Development Operations and Services. Brown's first day will be February 27.
In this role, Brown will be at the forefront of advancing organizational change that will foster fundraising growth. This position was identified as mission critical as NPR continues the development and execution of the NPR Network donation option for its audience. Brown will serve as a member of the Development Division's leadership team and report to Chief Development Officer Leora Hanser.
Brown has a bachelor's degree in corporate communications from Michigan State University and a master's in higher education administration from NYU. She also holds certifications in Digital Data Analytics from NYU Stern School of Business and Inclusive Philanthropy from Florida International University.
