Harrison Malkin is a skilled freelance reporter currently working with NPR since November 2022. Previously, Malkin served as a host and associate producer at NJ Spotlight News, where the role involved creating and hosting the NJ PBS podcast "Off Exit," pitching news stories, and booking guests for nightly news shows. Malkin has extensive experience in political reporting, having covered the 2022 elections in Illinois as a democracy and politics reporter for Illinois Public Media. Other notable positions include working as a research assistant for filmmaker Michael Moore, a contract editor at American Affairs, and various roles in media and journalism during academic studies at Ithaca College, where Malkin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics with a minor in Integrated Marketing Communications. Additional education includes pursuing Latin American Studies at Universidad de Belgrano and prior journalism coursework at NYU School of Professional Studies.
