Susan Davis is a veteran journalist with extensive experience in political reporting. Currently serving as a Political Correspondent and Co-Host of the NPR Politics Podcast since September 2015, Susan covers Congress and national politics for NPR's flagship news programs, reaching nearly 38 million listeners weekly. Prior to NPR, Susan was the Chief Congressional Reporter for USA TODAY, where coverage included significant national issues. Experience also includes roles as a Congressional Correspondent for National Journal, Reporter for The Wall Street Journal, Roll Call, and CongressDaily. Susan began her career as a Research Associate with the Almanac of American Politics. Susan holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies, cum laude, from American University.
