Magnus W.

Magnus W. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Magnus joined NRC Group Norge in 2020 as Head of Projects. Prior to that, they worked at GE from 2017 to 2020 as a Project Director, where they were responsible for a portfolio of projects with a focus on substation EPC projects. Before GE, Magnus worked at Siemens from 2007 to 2017, holding various roles such as Senior PM, Head of Global Sales Account Management, and Senior Project Manager/Project Director. At Siemens, they were involved in delivering projects in the North Sea and leading a commercial and technical organization. Magnus also worked at GE as a Sales Manager for Norway from 2005 to 2007. Earlier in their career, they had roles at Grundfos and Arthur D. Little, where they gained experience in management and business strategy. Magnus started their career with an apprenticeship diploma at EvoBus in Germany.

Magnus W. began their education in 1994 at Nøtterøy videregående skole, where they pursued a degree in Maths, physics, and chemistry. Magnus completed their degree in 1997, obtaining an Examen artium.

Following this, Magnus W. enrolled at Durham University from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued an M.Eng. in Engineering and Management Studies.

In 2010, Magnus W. decided to enhance their knowledge in project management and enrolled at OsloMet – storbyuniversitetet. Magnus completed a Master Certificate in Project Management, specializing in 30 ECTS.

Continuing their professional development, Magnus W. obtained the PM@Siemens Senior Project Manager Certification from Siemens in June 2012.
