Thomas Shanahan

Thomas Shanahan serves as the Executive Director of the Future Executives Institute at the National Roofing Contractors Association since January 1989, leading a program focused on developing leadership for roofing contractors through Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. In addition to this role, Thomas is the Founder of Shanahan Leadership Strategies, Inc. and serves as Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management and Executive Education since January 2023. Previous positions include Associate Executive Director of Risk Management and Executive Education and Guest Faculty at Kellogg Executive Education. Thomas's extensive career in the hospitality industry encompasses leadership roles in various hotels, including Rooms Director at Hotel 21 East and management positions at Stouffer Hotels and Westin Hotels & Resorts. Educational credentials include an MBA in Executive Studies from Northwestern University, as well as certifications in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and a BSBA in Business Administration from Creighton University.
