Marius Urkis

Marius Urkis has extensive experience in cyber security and incident response, currently serving as CIRT lead at NRD Cyber Security since August 2015, where responsibilities include establishing and supervising CIRT team processes and supporting CIRT services. Previously, Marius served as a CSIRT/SOC architect, focusing on building capabilities and maturity for CSIRTs and SOCs, including process development, tool implementation, and team training. Prior roles include project manager and head of Network Services at Kaunas University of Technology, where expertise in CSIRT management, incident handling, and forensics was developed. Marius also held positions as a technical expert at TÜV Uolektis and as a system administrator at various institutions. Marius holds a Master's degree in Informatics from Kaunas University of Technology.
