Eric Bidong

Eric Bidong is a GIS Specialist at NRECA International, with experience conducting grid condition assessments and willingness to pay studies in Burundi, as well as coordinating GIS implementation for the National Electricity Company of Senegal. Previously, Eric served as a Fellow at Engineering for Change, LLC, where improvements were made to GIS-based power system designs. At Nuru, Eric held several roles including Head of Platform Hardware, Senior Manager of Technical Operations, and Data and Software Coordinator, overseeing operations and maintenance of minigrid systems and conducting load assessments. Eric was also the Chief Technical Officer at Kivu Green Energy, leading the transition to solar hybrid power systems in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Universite Chretienne Bilingue du Congo.
