Emily Ross has extensive work experience in digital product management and user experience. Emily started their career as a Communication Assistant at USO World Headquarters, where they drafted reports and handled media inquiries. Emily then progressed to the role of Communication Specialist, implementing new media efforts and achieving record-breaking online donations. Emily later joined the VNAA as a Website & Communication Manager, leading marketing, operations, and web development. Emily was promoted to Senior Director of Marketing and Operations, overseeing strategic marketing plans and online presence. After VNAA, Emily worked as a Business Analyst Consultant for NewBees LLC, focusing on web strategy and content management system support. Emily then joined AARP as a Product Manager, where they led the content management system team. At AARP, they advanced to the position of Senior Digital Product Manager & Content Experience Lead, leading various initiatives to improve member and consumer experience. Emily also had experience at Caribou, where they served as Senior Product Manager, focusing on customer experience and growth. Currently, Emily works at NRECA as a Senior Principal, responsible for the development and maintenance of the employee benefits website and digital platforms. Emily ensures alignment with industry standards and business strategies while creating member journeys and evaluating product integrations.

Emily Ross received their Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications with a focus in PR, Publicity, and Promotion from Miami University in the years 2000-2004. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including SEO Practitioner, Social Media Practitioner, Web Analytics, Mobile Marketing Practitioner, and Content Marketing Practitioner from Market Motive in the year 2016.
