Brad Kranz

Brad Kranz is an experienced executive in the energy sector, currently serving as VP of Asset Management at NRG Energy since July 2007, overseeing a generation portfolio in key markets and international assets. Previously held various VP positions including Business Development, where Brad focused on customer energy solutions, and Wholesale Regulatory Strategy & Policy, leading regulatory efforts in competitive markets. Prior to NRG, Brad spent over a decade at NYISO in managerial and engineering roles, contributing to transmission congestion contract products and regulatory affairs. Brad's career began at National Grid as an Engineer in Nuclear Fuels Engineering. Education includes an MBA from Union College and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
