Danita Park

Danita Park is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of EV and Commercial Development at NRG Energy since 2012. In this role, Danita leads a team that defines, develops, and executes NRG's electric vehicle strategy. Previously, Danita held the position of Director of Asset Management Northeast at NRG, where the focus was on maximizing the value of existing oil and gas-fired power generation in the Northeast. Danita's career includes a tenure as Manager of Merchant Services at Calpine from 2006 to 2012, and roles at Dynegy between 2003 and 2006, including Director of Northeast Real Time. Danita holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Calgary and an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business.
