Steve Girard

Steve Girard is an experienced executive in the energy and finance sectors, currently serving as Vice President of C&I Sales for the East Region and Vice President of Client Services at NRG Energy since February 2021. Previously, Steve held multiple vice presidential roles at Direct Energy Business, including Vice President of Customer Operations and Head of Front Office Operations, from September 2010 to February 2021. Additional experience includes positions as Vice President of MidCorporate Banking at Citizens Bank, Director of Credit at Strategic Energy LLC, and Senior Associate at Standard & Poor's. Steve's career began in corporate banking at PNC Bank and Dollar Bank. Steve earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Penn State University.
