Vanessa Gilbert is an experienced recruitment specialist currently with Reading Partners, focusing on recruiting individuals for AmeriCorps roles in DC schools since June 2024. Prior to this, Vanessa held various positions within CENTURY 21®, including recruiter and director of growth, where responsibilities encompassed pre-screening real estate agents, managing onboarding processes, and leading recruitment initiatives across multiple branch locations. Vanessa also worked as an exclusive agent at Horace Mann and as an insurance agent at Transamerica, alongside sales management roles at PMA USA and Avon. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Oral Roberts University and an Associate's degree in Communications/History from American University.
