Shingo Konomoto is the current Chairman, President, and CEO of Nomura Research Institute. Shingo previously worked as an intern at digicom systems (blr)pvt ltd from March to April 2014. Shingo also worked as a variable (crew) at USJ Co., Ltd. from June 2013 to December 2013, where they had positive interactions with guests in Universal Studios Japan. In October 2013, they began working as an assistant purser for Japan Railway Central Passengers Co., Ltd., where they were responsible for giving customers safety, accuracy, and great service while transporting carts and selling lunch boxes, food, snacks, beverages, magazines, and other items. Prior to that, they worked as a sound mixer at Kyoto Aquarium from April to October 2012.

Shingo Konomoto graduated from Doshisha University with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Intellectual Property law.
