David Solomona

David Solomona is an experienced professional in both rugby league and youth welfare, currently serving as the QLD Welfare & Education Programs Manager at the National Rugby League since 2014. Prior to this role, David held the position of Pacific Liaison Officer at Woodridge State High School and worked as a Youth/Player Mentor with Pacifika Mentoring, providing support and career guidance to Maori and Polynesian students and student athletes. David has an extensive rugby league career, having played for several clubs including the Vodafone Warriors, Sydney Roosters, and Parramatta Eels, with notable appearances in NRL Grand Finals in 2000 and 2001. Edifying experience in education and mentoring further complements David's sporting background, fostering a commitment to supporting young athletes.
