Leo Yao

Leo Yao is an undergraduate student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics with Computer Science. Experience includes a current role at the NSF AI Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Fundamental Interactions, where Leo contributes to computational modeling in chaotic systems using PyTorch. Previous internships at Citadel Securities involved engineering a data loading library and creating data transformation pipelines, while work at the MIT Research Laboratory of Electronics focused on modeling nonlinear optical systems. Additionally, Leo served as the Lead Instructor for Science Olympiad Camps, developing and teaching science courses for younger students. Early education includes a dual enrollment program at Princeton University and a high school diploma from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North.
