Babak Behnam M.D.

Babak Behnam is a Regulatory & Scientific Analyst II at NSF International - Health Sciences and an Associate Editor for Genetics of Common and Rare Diseases at Frontiers. Babak has a strong background in genetics, with experience as a Clinical Laboratory Genetics & Research Fellow at the National Human Genome Research Institute and as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Human Genetics at IRAN University of Medical Sciences. Babak has also held various academic positions at University of Central Florida, University of Michigan Medical School, and University College London. Babak is currently the Vice President for Scientific Meetings & Board Member of Meetings and Scholarship Committee at IAAP-DC, a non-profit organization for Iranian-American academics and professionals.
