Chris Pratsis has over 30 years of experience in various roles in the food industry. Chris is currently the Director of Business Development for Food at NSF International since January 2016. Prior to this, they held the position of Regional Business Development Director for Food at NSF International's EMEA division since July 2012. Before joining NSF International, Chris worked at NSF-CMi Limited as the Director of Business Development for Retail & Supply Chain Technical Services from April 2011 to July 2012, and as a Business Development Manager from October 2003 to April 2011. Chris also worked at CMi plc as a Client Services Account Manager from September 2002 to October 2003. Chris has experience in food safety and quality management, having worked at Whitbread plc as a Retail Food Safety Manager from March 2000 to September 2002, and as a Quality & Food Safety Manager from January 1994 to March 2000. Chris also worked at St Ivel Limited as a Technical Manager from April 1992 to March 1993, at Coca Cola Enterprises (GB) Limited in various technical and quality assurance roles from February 1989 to April 1992, and at Cadbury Schweppes plc as an Analytical Chemist from January 1988 to February 1989.
Chris Pratsis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences with a major in Biotechnology from the University of Westminster in 1987. Later, from 1990 to 1993, they attended Aston University Business School in the United Kingdom and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration.
