Kevin Cox has a diverse work experience, starting with their time at NSF International where they held various roles such as Principal Research Toxicologist, Acting Director of Toxicology Services, Managing Toxicologist, Senior Research Toxicologist, Supervising Toxicologist, and Research Toxicologist. Kevin then worked as an Attorney at Shaheen Law Firm, P.C. for four years. Prior to that, they were a Summer Associate Law Clerk at Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC. Their early career also includes a role as a Law Clerk at Trinity Health (HQ Michigan). Kevin began their professional journey as a Toxicologist at NSF International, where they performed toxicology evaluations, reviewed product formulations, instructed toxicology evaluation procedures, developed NSF Standards of Procedure, and analyzed data for research projects.
Kevin Cox completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and History at the University of Michigan from 1993 to 1998. Kevin then pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Toxicology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health from 1998 to 2000. Kevin continued their education at the University of Michigan Law School, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) degree in 2004.
