Patricio Northland

Patricio Northland has extensive experience in the satellite communications industry. Patricio is currently the CEO of BeetleSat, a new LEO constellation providing global connectivity for secure communications. Prior to joining BeetleSat, Northland served as the Director & CEO of Northland Strategies, a strategic advisory firm specializing in business transformations. Patricio also held the position of Executive President at BeetleSat before becoming CEO of Eutelsat Americas, a global satellite communications operator. Northland's previous experience includes serving as CEO of SATELITES MEXICANOS SA DE CV (SATMEX), where they transformed the company into one of the most profitable satellite operators. Additionally, they have held leadership roles at AgCert International, AT&T Latin America, Firstcom Corporation, AmericaTel Corporation/Northland Communications, and PanAmSat. Throughout their career, Northland has demonstrated expertise in M&A transactions, post integrations, equity/debt capital raising, and company exit strategy.

Patricio Northland has an impressive education history. Patricio obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on corporate strategy and leadership from the University of Chicago in 1997. Before that, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Science Communications at The George Washington University in 1985. Patricio started their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Chile in 1979. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification from Stanford Graduate School of Business in April 2015 as part of the Stanford University- Board Consortium.
