Maggie Johanson is an experienced educator with a diverse background in special education and instructional leadership. Since June 2013, Maggie has held multiple roles at NSSEO, including Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Special Education Teacher. Prior experience includes serving as a Special Education Teacher and Student Teacher at Schaumburg School District 54 from October 2010 to June 2013, and as a Student Teacher at Ridgewood High School in 2010. Maggie possesses a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Eastern Illinois University, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the American College of Education, and a Director of Special Education certification from the University of St. Francis.
