Lachlan Hyde

Lachlan Hyde is currently a Transport Planning Cadet at Transport for NSW, contributing to the delivery of various transport planning projects aligned with the NSW Future Transport Strategy. In addition to this role, Lachlan serves as the President and Chairman of the Royal Aero Club of New South Wales, leading efforts to re-establish the state's oldest aviation organization. Furthermore, Lachlan works part-time as the South West Sydney Outreach Coordinator and Workshop Facilitator for Youth Decide, enhancing civic education in underrepresented areas. Additional experiences include serving as a Justice of the Peace, a Youth Health Advisory Group Member with the NSW Health South Western Sydney Local Health District, and previous roles in youth advocacy and media relations with various organizations. Lachlan is pursuing a Bachelor of Planning at Macquarie University, building a solid foundation for a career in community and regional planning.
