Amy Blackwood

Amy Blackwood possesses extensive experience in project management and community engagement, currently serving as a Senior Project Officer at the NSW Department of Education since February 2017. In this role, Amy focuses on enhancing the learning and well-being of children in the Early Years through strategic program development. Prior experience includes leadership roles at the NSW Rural Fire Service, where Amy excelled in Volunteer Relations, promoting a child-focused culture and providing direction on workforce planning initiatives. Additionally, as a Development Officer at the Office of Sport, Amy fostered active lifestyles within the Central Coast community. Amy is pursuing further education at Charles Sturt University and holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Leisure and Health, along with coaching qualifications from Equestrian Australia.
