Cherie Farr

Cherie Farr is an experienced project coordinator and event management professional with a demonstrated history of working in various sectors, including education, government, and charity. Currently serving as the Strategic Partnerships Project Coordinator for TAFE NSW, Cherie focuses on addressing skill shortages through the Manufacturing Centres of Excellence initiative. Previous roles include Event Producer and Logistics Supervisor for Placemaking NSW, General Manager at Echo Corporate Events, Event Executive at Swiss Re, and Event Manager for Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney. Cherie's extensive background also includes managing significant events at UNSW as Future Students Event Manager and ownership of Cherished Events, where expertise in end-to-end event planning and execution was developed. Additionally, Cherie has experience as a Trainer and Assessor in event management and hospitality at TAFE NSW and as National Event Manager for the YMCA Swimathon campaign.
