Christina Igasto

Christina Igasto has a range of experience in the digital health and technology industry. Christina has held positions such as Chief Digital Health Officer and CIO at NSW Health, where they were responsible for implementing digital health strategies and advancements. Christina has also served as an Honorary Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Sydney and a Fellow at the Australasian Institute of Digital Health. In addition, Christina has worked as an Executive Director of Digital Transformation & Innovation at Customer Crunch, a data analytics and transformation company. Prior to this, they were involved in various national committees and boards focused on digital health in Sweden. Overall, Christina has a strong background in digital health leadership and innovation.

Christina Igasto holds a PhD in Computing Science - Healthcare from Umeå University. Christina also has a PhLic degree in Computing Science - Healthcare and a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence and Image Analysis in Healthcare, both from Umeå University. Christina has a Certified Board Member certification from Uminova Innovation and has completed a management administration, organization, and leadership program at Umeå School of Business, Economics, and Statistics (USBE). Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health and Certified Health Informatician Australasia (CHIA) from the Australasian Institute of Digital Health. Christina also holds an Assistant Nurse degree from Nursing School and a Senior High School diploma from Dunlap/Dow City-Arion High School in the USA. Christina has further certifications in IT service management, maintenance management and portfolio governance, and project sponsorship.
