Joe Walkden

Joe Walkden is a Provisional Psychologist currently working at Manly Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice (AYAH) with experience in providing evidence-based psychological services to young individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. Previous roles include providing mental health support at headspace, conducting assessments and treatment for a variety of mental health issues at the University of Technology Sydney, and serving as a Crisis Counsellor for Lifeline Australia. Joe also has experience as a Recovery Case Worker with Mission Australia, offering psychosocial support for adults with severe mental illness, and has held various marketing positions at Microsoft for over a decade, where Joe led initiatives in mental health peer support and product marketing across the Asia-Pacific region. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science (Honours) and a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology from UNSW, along with a degree in Government & Public Policy from Northumbria University.
