Edilson Azevedo

Edilson Azevedo has diverse work experience in the IT industry. Edilson started their career in 2009 as an Information Technology Analyst at Vale Soluções em Energia, where they were responsible for configuring, installing, managing, and benchmarking clusters with various architectures. Edilson also designed and implemented clusters on Linux platforms and automated system maintenance tasks using scripts.

In 2012, Edilson worked as an ICT Specialist at UNDP, where they created a server infrastructure to ensure high availability of services and enhance security standards. Edilson provided training on Linux administration and open source to the national staff.

From 2013 to 2014, Edilson served as an IT Specialist at IBM, working as the Engagement Team Application Architect for a subset of the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Download and Web Applications. Edilson developed and refined IAS architecture for the Download Hosting Environment and mentored junior engagement reps.

In the following years, Edilson held various roles in different companies. Edilson worked as a Cloud Architect at ilegra from 2016 to 2017, an Infrastructure Architect at Agibank from 2017 to 2018, and a DevOps Manager/QA Manager at Contabilizei from 2018 to 2020.

In 2020, Edilson joined Betha Sistemas as an Infrastructure Coordinator, where they were responsible for coordinating infrastructure projects. Edilson then moved on to Getup, where they worked as an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) from 2020 until their most recent role at NTConsult as a Cloud Specialist. Edilson also briefly served as the Head of Information Technology at Clinicarx in 2022.

Lastly, they obtained the AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate Level certification from Amazon in December 2015.
