Ryan Barth, CMP has over 18 years of experience in the hospitality, tourism, and events industries. Ryan began their career in 2003 as a Night Auditor & Front Desk Manager at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. In 2004, they were an Intern/Tour Operator at Kilauea Military Camp and a Project Manager at Eppley Institute, where they reviewed evaluations and portfolios for National Park Service employee training programs. From 2006 to 2017, they were a Sales Manager and then National Sales Manager at Visit Indy, where they represented clients of 151-1,500 hotel rooms on peak night for the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. markets and increased lead volume by 200% over the previous two years. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Global Account Executive at ConferenceDirect, where they represented association and corporate clients in Washington, D.C. and New York City with site selection, hotel contract negotiation, and conference services. In 2016, they were a Director at HIP Network, where they directed sales, marketing, and event operations for 4,500+ members and re-conceptualized organizational mission statement, branding, and overall direction of the business in partnership with the Founder/CEO. In 2021, they began their role as Senior Account Manager at Morressier, where they support innovation and scientific breakthroughs by making previously hidden conference content and discussions discoverable. Currently, they are the Director of Sales at NTEA - The Association for the Work Truck Industry.

Ryan Barth, CMP obtained their Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management from Indiana University Bloomington in 2006. In 2012, they obtained their Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council. In 2020, they obtained their Fast Start Certification from Sales Assembly. In 2021, they obtained their Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues certification from LinkedIn.
