Stephen Carey

Stephen Carey has worked in the industry for over 20 years. Stephen began their career in 1994 as the Director of Expositions for the National Association of College Stores - NACS. In 1998, they joined NTEA - The Association for the Work Truck Industry, where they held a series of leadership roles, including Senior Director of Operations and Deputy Executive Director. In 2012, they assumed the role of Executive Director and in 2018 they became President & CEO. Throughout their career, Carey has developed a unique perspective on shifts in competition, industry relationships and customer expectations.

Stephen Carey received their MBA from Baldwin Wallace University in 1997, where they studied Organizational Systems. Stephen completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from The Ohio State University in 1988. Stephen also holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from the American Society of Association Executives.
