RAPHAEL ARAKPOGUN

Raphael Arakpogun has a diverse work experience in the field of networking and electrical services. RAPHAEL started their career at Aldwych Azura Operations Limited as an Internship Trainee in 2017. Afterwards, they joined Nigeria National Petroleum Coporation as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer as part of the SIWES training program. In 2018, they worked as an Intern at Nosakhare Electrical Services. From 2019 to the present, they are employed at ntel as a Team Lead, Network Operations and Surveillance Engineer, where they are responsible for coordinating and supervising team members, providing client support, monitoring network performance, liaising with technical partners/vendor, and analyzing alarms on network nodes. RAPHAEL also served as a Network Operations Center Engineer Intern during their National Youth Service Corps in 2019-2020.

Raphael Arakpogun's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin, which they obtained from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Maritime Studies, Information and Communication Technology also at the University of Benin from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Raphael has obtained several certifications. These include Cybersecurity Essentials from Cisco in June 2023, Associate of (ISC)² from (ISC)² in November 2022, Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in August 2022, Coding Intro from IBM in October 2020, and Cybersecurity Intro from IBM in March 2020. RAPHAEL also holds certifications in BASIC FIRST AID/CPR from Novelle Center in October 2019, ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT from the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in October 2019, and various levels of Health, Safety, and Environment certifications from the United Kingdom SHE Organization, also obtained in October 2019. Lastly, Raphael has completed an Introduction to Programming Using Python course from Udemy in August 2019 and is certified in Cybersecurity (CC) from (ISC)², obtained in May 2023.
