During their time there, they held the positions of HR & Payroll, Human Resources and Payroll, and finally Human Resources. In their role as HR Manager, they were responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees. Cheryl also oversaw the benefits and compensation programs, and worked with the management team to develop and implement employee retention strategies. After 7 years at North American Lending, Cheryl moved to Glacial Energy, where they worked for 7 years 5 months as the Human Resources Manager. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of human resources, including benefits, compensation, employee relations, and performance management. Cheryl also oversaw the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, and developed and implemented employee retention strategies. Cheryl Rousseau has a Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Psychology, which they obtained between 1995 and 1999. Cheryl also has an Associate's Degree in Psychology from Grayson County College, which they obtained between 1993 and 1995. In addition, they have a SHRM-CP certification from SHRM and a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
