Bouwe van Straten

Bouwe van Straten is a seasoned science editor with extensive experience in coordinating and producing science news for prominent Dutch media outlets. Currently serving as a science editor at NTR since January 2014, Bouwe van Straten oversees science news for Focus and Radio1.nl, and previously acted as a science and technology editor for NPO Wetenschapsnieuws. Additional contributions at VPRO include coordinating science pages in the VPRO Gids and writing science articles. Bouwe van Straten's past roles encompass work as a researcher and editor at VPRO from 2009 to 2013, where significant projects included a ten-part series titled Beagle Updates.
