Takao Imanaka

Takao Imanaka has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Takao started their career at NTT Comware in 2000, where they held various roles in business development and human resources until 2020. Takao then joined NTT as the Director on secondment to NTT Ltd. Asia Pacific. In 2021, they became the Principal Advisor for Strategy & Business Operations - Asia Pacific at NTT Ltd. Currently, they work as the Director of the Global Business Office at NTT Comware, a position they have held since 2023. Additionally, they also served as a Client Manager for NTT Business Unit at Dimension Data Japan from 2014 to 2015.

Takao Imanaka completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics (English) from Kwansei Gakuin University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications over the years. These include the "42nd Stanford-NUS Executive Program in International Management" from NUS Business School Executive Education, obtained in August 2022; the "Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist" certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in December 2020; the "Stanford Business Leadership Series" from Stanford GSB Executive Education, completed in the fall of 2020; and "The Japan Business Law Examination, Grade 3" credential awarded by the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 2009.
