Yadear Zhang

CRM Tech Lead (personalization/automation/salesforce) at FairPrice Group

Yadear Zhang has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and roles. They started their career as a QA/QC Engineer at Quest Software in 2010. From there, they worked as a Visual Designer at Titansoft Pte Ltd for a few months in 2011. In 2012, they became a Front End Product Manager at Rocket Internet SE. They then pursued a Master's degree in Communication Software & Networks at Nanyang Technological University from 2010 to 2011. Yadear joined ZALORA Group in 2013, where they held positions such as Head of Onsite Marketing and Production (Hong Kong) and Regional Onsite Marketing Manager. During their time at ZALORA, they successfully launched new projects and campaigns, optimized marketing campaigns, and provided a personalized experience to customers. In 2017, Yadear joined NTUC Link as a Product Manager and Manager, where they built and launched a mobile app from scratch, implemented marketing tech stack, and drove acquisition and product adoption. They continued their career at NTUC Enterprise Co-operative Limited as a CRM Tech Lead, and most recently, they have been working at NTUC FairPrice as a CRM Tech Lead, building the CRM foundation and enabling personalization capabilities for all CRM channels.

Yadear Zhang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Beijing Normal University from 2006 to 2010. Later, from 2010 to 2011, Zhang pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Communication Software & Networks from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Additionally, Yadear Zhang acquired certifications in SQL Google BigQuery Black Belt Training (Star Achievement Award) from NTUC FairPrice and Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org, obtained in 2020 and 2019 respectively.
