David Tan, CFA has extensive experience in data analytics and leadership roles. David is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Income Insurance, where they are responsible for executive leadership in data and analytics. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Data Officer at HSBC Singapore, driving data analytics strategy, architecture, governance, and commercialization. David also held the position of Executive Director at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB), where they established the Big Data Analytics Group and led analytics transformation across multiple countries. David has also worked in various roles at Vietnam International Bank (VIB) and Commonwealth Bank, focusing on customer management, strategy and planning, risk management, and data-driven marketing. Earlier in their career, David gained experience in analytics and project management at Citi and Standard Chartered Bank.
David Tan, CFA received their Bachelor of Business Systems degree in Information Technology from Monash University in 2001-2003. David then pursued further education at CFA Institute from 2008-2013, obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
