Sharana Kariappa

Sharana Kariappa is an accomplished Electronic and Optics Engineer currently working at Nu Quantum since July 2022, with prior experience as an Electronics Engineer and intern in various roles including product management. Sharana has completed engineering internships at ALTER TECHNOLOGY TUV NORD UK LTD, focusing on software and electronic/electrical engineering, and held a project placement and summer research position at Helia Photonics Ltd. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Optics and Photonics from Imperial College London, a BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, and a B.Sc. in Applied Science focusing on Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Additional experiences include participation in a Circular Economy Challenge at The University of Edinburgh and serving as the Director of Public Relations for the Lions Club of Manipal.
