Projjol Banerjea has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Projjol is the Founder & Chief Product Officer at Zeotap, a technology platform that helps brands manage customer data securely and effectively. Projjol is also a Co-founder & Board Member at Nua (Lagom Labs), an organization focusing on jazz education and performances as a Board Trustee for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO). Projjol has extensive experience as an Angel Investor, making sporadic investments in early-stage startups. Projjol has invested in a wide range of companies across industries such as voice AI, 3D avatars, location trackers, education loans, pain relief, and more. Projjol Banerjea has a diverse education history. Projjol started their education at St. James' School in Kolkata, where they completed their ISC and ICSE degrees in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics from 1993 to 2002.

Projjol then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from DePauw University, graduating in 2006. Following this, Projjol attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Informatics (Human-Computer Interaction) from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008-2009, Projjol enrolled at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, to pursue an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing and Strategy. Later, in 2018-2021, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to complete an Executive Masters degree in Behavioural Sciences.

In addition to their academic degrees, Projjol Banerjea has obtained certifications. In 2016, they earned the Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. In 2018, they completed a certification in Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
