Carin Meier

Carin Meier is a highly experienced software engineer and entrepreneur with a diverse background in software development and data engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Nubank since March 2024, Carin also founded Gigasquid Software LLC in June 2010, focusing on independent research, development, and consulting. Previous roles include Director of Data Engineering and Data Engineer at OneStudyTeam, Developer at Cognitect, and various consulting positions where Carin contributed to the development of applications and systems using technologies such as Clojure, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript. Carin's career began after earning a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Cincinnati from 1992 to 1996.
