Michael Nygard is the VP of Data Engineering at Nubank. Michael has also served as the SVP of Enterprise Architecture & Platform Development at Sabre Corporation and the Chief Technology Officer at Relevance, Inc. Michael is also a founder of Halley's Fifth and the Chief Scientist at Javelin Solutions. Michael has also been the Chief Architect of the Advanced Technologies Initiative at Long-Term Capital Management.

Michael Nygard earned their B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science from the California Institute of Technology.

Michael Nygard reports to Matt Swann, CTO. They are on a team with Bruno Simioni - Director of Engineering, David Currie - Chief Information Security Officer, and Fabiola Marchiori - VP, Engineering.
